Ps Vijay And Tejal Nadar are the founders and Senior Pastors of New Life Fellowship, Lokhandwala. Started only three years back, the church with over 800 people stands as a testimony of the goodness and the power of God. Is anything too hard for the Lord?

VISION

To see our beloved city of Mumbai transformed through the love and mercy of Jesus Christ-this is the heartbeat of every member in this church. We believe fervent prayer for the city and government officials is the key to protection and development of the city. A strong culture prevails in the church, of loving God and loving others. Sharing the love of Jesus with others is a lifestyle. Our objectives include helping build strong families and empowering the marginalised through education and development of skills.

WORSHIP SERVICES

Each weekend, the church's three worship services on Sunday and three Worship services on Saturday reaches out to hundreds of people across the length and breadth of the island city, literally. The church plies a bus service for people who come from distant places for the worship services. All the services are in English with Hindi translation to cater to the needs of even an average Mumbaikar.

ONE IN CHRIST

The church believes in not being exclusive but having the all- inclusive heart of Jesus towards people from all walks of life. Embracing the great Bible truth that the church is a family, this church caters to the rich and the marginalized alike. It is where, as someone commented, one can find a Bollywood actor sit alongside a rag-picker, glorifying the name of Jesus. More than 60 care cells are conducted by staff as well as lay leaders all over the city.

EVENTS

The highlight of the month is the night prayer held once a month which is attended by over 200 people. Prayer - individual and corporate is the basis of everything that happens in the church. In order to equip the saints of God, various methods of teaching and preaching are employed. A five day fast track Bible school covering theological and practical topics, is conducted once in a year. Youth camps, revival meetings, seminars, leadership equipping meetings are held the year round. At present, the church has its branch churches in Pune, Ahmednagar city and Ahmednagar district. With Sunday worship services and care cells conducted in the cities and various villages, the church has, by the grace of God, been able to impact multitudes.
